Welcome to NCL Cactus Wren!

Cactus Wren was founded on August 26, 2012 as an Expansion Chapter of the National Charity League, Inc. 
As the 176th Chapter, we are named after Arizona's Official State Bird, The Cactus Wren.
Our members live in the Northeaast Phoenix, Northeast Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Carefree
and Cave Creek Areas.

NCL is a non-profit national organization of mothers and daughters who join together in
community involvement within local chapters throughout the United States. Daughters,
known as Ticktockers enter membership from 7-12 grades.

NCL's Mission is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to:

    • Community Service
    • Leadership Development
    • Cultural Experiences

While fostering strong mother-daughter relationships, National Charity League, Inc. empowers its members
to be confident, well-rounded and socially aware contributors in their communities.

The Cactus Wren Chapter of NCL serves local and national philanthropies including: Audrey's Angels, Homeward Bound and Hope and a Future - AZ Princess Program, Feed My Starving Children, Welcome to America, Scottsdale Cultural Council, S.T.A.R.S (Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitation Services) and McDowell Sonoran Conservancy.

For the month of March, Cactus Wren Chapter is conducting a modified membership drive in which we will accept  additional members. Membership opportunities are available for all mothers and daughters currently in 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th grade of 2012-13 school year. Obliglations for membership include: attendance at Chapter Meetings, working with our Philanthropies around the valley and participating as an officer or committee member for both mothers and daughters.
