Welcome to Cactus Wren Chapter!
Cactus Wren was founded on August 26, 2012 as an Expansion Chapter of the National Charity League, Inc. As the 176th Chapter, we are named after Arizona's Official State Bird, the Cactus Wren. Our members live in the Northeast Phoenix, Northeast Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Carefree and Cave Creek.
NCL is a non-profit national organization of mothers and daughters who join together in community involvement within local chapters throughout the United States. Daughters, from 7-12th grade enjoy membership and are known as Ticktockers.
NCL's mission is to foster strong mother-daughter relationships. Our organization is committed to philanthropic, leadership and cultural activities.
By living this mission, NCL has been making a difference for decades. Our chapters provide nearly $18 million in volunteer hours annually. Membership is a privilege and carries a responsibility to participate in our Chapter activities and philanthropy events.
National Charity League encourages mothers and daughters to learn, grow and model responsibility and graciousness together. It empowers women with the confidence to lead, nurtures mentorship and inspires a legacy of social awareness and compassion. NCL has established core values that are essential to the character and spirit of our culture.
